Annie and Mike’s wedding day was electric. At this point in my career I’ve easily captured 200 weddings and I’d be hard pressed to think of a crew that had more fun than Annie and Mike’s bridal party.

The day started off at this family-centric duo’s childhood homes. After beautiful first looks with parents and LOTS of fun with their best pals, the two made the darn thing official at Annie’s family parish.

Kayla and TJ got engaged in Maui and must have somehow brought those Hawaiian vibes to Chicago because conditions were perfect for their engagement session: warm temps with a cool breeze drifting in from the lake, golden beams of light dancing in the glimmering waves of Lake Michigan and the city lights just making their debut for the night as the sun set over the Windy City. Does all this make me the happiest wedding photographer in Chicago.
