Good LORD, y’all.
Annie and Mike’s wedding day was electric. At this point in my career I’ve easily captured 200 weddings and I’d be hard pressed to think of a crew that had more fun than Annie and Mike’s bridal party.
The day started off at this family-centric duo’s childhood homes. After beautiful first looks with parents and LOTS of fun with their best pals, the two made the darn thing official at Annie’s family parish.
THEN the fun truly began!
From theree hopped on a party bus and went joy riding all over the city. From Champ’s Sports Bar for a quick shot to North Avenue Pier’s gorgeous city skyline views to being right in the center of the action at the Chicago Board of Trade, I am absolutely in love with their gallery! And all this was BEFORE the party kicked off back at Chicago’s wonderful Fairlie loft venue.
Elegant summer blooms in white, sweeping swathes of deep greenery and golden candlelight set the scene but their 300+ guests were in for never-ending fun. The Shannon Rover Bagpipe Band surprised us all when their deep bellows began from the balcony overlooking the main hall. This truly amped up the party and their amazing band __________ kept the dancefloor full all night long.
Sweet. STUNNING. So much fun. What an incredible honor to work with you both on the most special of all your days.
Thank you so much, Mr. and Mrs. O’Brien! Here’s to many, many more years of adventure to come! xo
