When Redfin asked me if I’d like to be featured in their article about Chicago’s Best Hidden Gems by Chicago natives, I thought I surely must be being punked.
Then it dawned on me - after over 200 weddings and ten years of living in Chicago - I guess I am (finally!) a Chicago native.
And not only that. One of the many gifts my career offers me is the endless exploration of this incredible city in America’s Heartland.
Sweeping vistas of the Chicago skyline, hidden prairies along Lake Michigan, alleyways offering tres cool urban vibes. Just when I think I know all of the city’s best spots, there I go stumbling on yet another one during an engagement session or on a wedding day.
But my favorite?! When Redfin asked me to name my favorite hidden gem in Chicago, it was a no brainer.
