As the end of the year is fast approaching, I thought I’d take the opportunity to show off Kady and Pat’s stunning downtown Chicago Holiday wedding from last season.
When Kady told me that her inspiration was Hallmark Christmas movie wedding I was in. I was ALL IN.
Their venue, Osteria Via Stato is the perfect spot for an intimate, cozy winter wedding. Right on State Street and only blocks away from the river, it’s right in the middle of the action of downtown Chicago. If you've ever had the chance to visit Chicago in December you’ll know that there seems to be an enigmatic electric current in the air (dare I say….some Christmas magic?! Sorry, I had to.) which is exactly what I set out to capture in Kady and Pat’s portraits.
