shannon & matt-a chicago shoreline engagement session
On an EXTREMELY hot July afternoon, I spent an hour or so strolling along Chicago's beautiful shoreline with Shannon and Matt during their engagement session. Because we are warriors!
But honestly, it was so worth braving the heat! Shannon and Matt (who are every bit as sweet as they are gorgeous, by the way. Sometimes the lord gives with both hands, I tell ya!) are relatively new to Chicago and it's clear to see that they really love their new home and wanted to celebrate this in their engagement photos. Capturing their love against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful cities in America was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Adler Planetarium, Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain, Art Institute Gardens. We managed to cover many of Chicago's Greatest Hits despite the thermostat hitting about 103° by noon. These two, however, somehow managed to look relaxed, gorgeous and oh-so-in-love (their photographer, on the other hand, may have been a little more on the sweaty side..........at least I was on the right side of the camera!).
