karen & matt - a wilmette engagement session
I met Karen and Matt in the northern Chicago suburb of Wilmette one golden autumn afternoon. The only thing more radiant than the light shimmering on Lake Michigan’s perfect blue waters was the way that these crazy kids look at each other. They go way beyond adorable.
Always a sucker for a good love story, I absolutely love the genesis of their relationship (which may have something to do with the fact that it is very similar to the way my own husband and I got together but I digress!). Karen and Matt were pals in school (a place we visited during their engagement session). Little did they know that their friendship would one day turn into a full-fledged love affair that would end in marriage. Come on, all together now: aw!
Not only are these guys obviously gorgeous and crazy about each other, they also happen to be really, truly lovely people. I had a blast strolling along Lake Michigan and visiting the incomparable Baha'i House of Worship. Suffice it to say that I am exceedingly pumped to capture them exchange vows in front of their loved ones next summer<3.
