ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT THE GROVE
I knew I was going to love Allison and Matt from the get-go.
As some of you may know, I lived in Ireland for almost ten years (from my freshman year of high school until a couple of years after graduating college) and am always, always missing that beautiful corner of the world. Don’t get me wrong. Chicagoland is wonderful and had I not moved back to the States I wouldn’t have reconnected with or married Mark, so I can’t complain! BUT when Allison and Matt told me they were going to be holding their Leap Year wedding (that’s right, February 29th!) at Edison Park’s favorite Irish establishment (The Curragh) to reflect their passion for all things Irish, I knew it was meant to be.
As a busy professional and all around awesome lady, Allison told me she was just about over the whole dating scene when sweet and dapper Matt unexpectedly came into her life and changed it forever.
These two are truly the definition of lovely. Kind, funny, sweet and thoughtful, I am 1000% positive that they have a very bright future ahead of them and am so honored and excited to be capturing the beginning of the rest of their lives together next winter!
Below are some of my personal favorites from their early spring engagement session at Glenview’s always stunning “The Grove”. Moody skies, gorgeous architecture and an amazing bridge in the woods set the perfect backdrop for this wonderful couple’s love story.
