I met this sweet couple in the equally charming lobby of the Hotel Monaco on Michigan Avenue. The first thing I thought to myself when I caught their eye from across the room and began making my way over to them was “woah”.

This gorgeous duo have a timeless romance about them. As we strolled along the Chicago River reflecting shimmering city lights in it’s freezing waters, they told me all about their love story and let me tell ya, I’m just smitten.

Cameron asked Emily to be his bride in perfect Chicago style. He planned a staycation and booked them in for a romantic night at the Hotel Monaco. While strolling along the river, he got down on one knee and popped The Question on the Wabash Bridge. She said yes and the rest is history.

Here we are at the very spot where they began this crazy adventure together!

After spending some time carefully tip toeing around the River we decided to brave the frigid temps and head out to the Planetarium to capture some beautiful shots featuring Chicago’s stunning skyline (and some adorable Save The Date mugs!).

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Glaze! Simply cannot wait for your wedding day :-)!
