Let’s be real; the anxiety ridden weather watch begins well before meteorologists can even accurately predict what the gods have in store for your wedding day. That’s at least true for Chicago couples where the weather is predictably unpredictable.

Emily and Cameron woke the morning of their wedding day to rain. I mean, RAIN. I mean, the kind of downpour that forced me to pull over on the side of the highway on my way to their incredible Monte Bello Estate wedding in Lemont, IL.

But let me tell you, this sweet, intelligent and kind couple took the whole thing in stride and didn’t let a little (or a lot) of rain and Amazonian humidity get in the way of their happiness!

The bride – stunning. The groom – dashing. Their venue? Among my faves to capture in Chicagoland! And the sun even made a guest appearance at golden hour to reward them for their incredible grace.
