Okay. Who doesn’t have a soft spot for a couple of high school sweethearts who go the distance?!

Abbi and Peter had a wedding day every bit as stunning as they are themselves and incorporated touches of nostalgia in at every turn. Native to Lake Forest (a stunning North Shore suburb of Chicago) they fell for each other as kids at Lake Forest High School and have been inseparable ever since.

First let’s state the obvious: what a pair of BABES. Abbi’s gorgeous, retro gown and sweet mom-made cathedral length veil were a match made in bridal heaven and Peter’s classic black tuxedo and even more classic good looks made the entire day massive wedding photographer eye candy.

After saying their “I do’s” at St Patrick’s Catholic church in Lake Forest, IL, the three of us dashed over to their alma mater in order to pay tribute to where their love story began. And good LAWD, is Lake Forest High School stunning!

Exploring the dreamy grounds of the historic Onwentsia Club with the newlyweds and their bridal party honestly resulted in some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken and the gorgeousness didn’t stop there.

I honestly could ramble on for paragraphs about how gorgeous this day was but I feel like the photos can speak for themselves!
