When push comes to shove, I think the absolute most rewarding part of being a wedding and portrait photographer are the relationships I develop with my amazing clients.
I first met Sarah on a breezy autumn day in Old Town to discuss her wedding day plans and we hit it off immediately. As a gregarious individual, I love when I meet a bride and it feels like we have been friends for years already (which is basically my dream meeting with every and anyone in the world!).
Sarah and Chris are so perfect for each other. They check all of the important relationship boxes: sharing the same beliefs, ideas, ethics and dreams for the future but – equally as important in my book – this certainly doesn’t stop them from having fun together!
I had an absolute ball running around Chicago with them on their wedding day last month. From Lincoln Park, to Montrose Beach to the South Loop at the wonderful Row 24 venue where their reception was held, every moment of their day was steeped in excitement, love and gratitude to be beginning this journey together.
Their traditional, Christian ceremony lead to a super fun reception with gorgeous touches of their Indian heritage making the whole affair absolutely mesmerizing (the colors! And not to mention the fabulous food….a hungry photographer’s dream) and I could not be more pumped to share a selection of my favorites from their day!
Sarah and Chris, thank you so much for allowing me to celebrate the beginning of this adventure with you! Congratulations!
