Originally planning on a big wedding out east next year, Taylor and Danny – semi-new Chicago transplants – decided to scrap their plans still shrouded in uncertainty and downsize. What they didn’t compromise on was style, heart and fun.

What an incredible wedding!

The thirty five amazing women who made up my bridal squad in 2019 are all very different from each other, but they all had one thing in common: one heck of a fierce bouquet game and incredibly talented florists.

I’ve rounded up some of my absolute favorites (which was impossible) and loosely categorized them in hopes of helping all brides-to-be nail down their dream wedding flower vision as they enter the exciting and sometimes overwhelming world of wedding planning!

From the moment I met Danielle for coffee to discuss her wedding plans and get to know her a bit, I felt like we had been pals for ages. She is such a warm, compassionate lady with these beautiful deep brown eyes that simultaneously draw you in and put you at ease.

She and Steven are truly the perfect match for one another.

Noelle and Brett’s wedding day was perfect. Chicago being Chicago means that the weather will always keep you on your toes. Despite a little summer rain, their city summer wedding day was elegant and unique at the always fabulous Ovation Chicago…

It was a lovely day in July that Melanie & David exchanged vows on the sweeping lawns of the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Chicago’s north suburbs.

I could probably write a love poem about Melanie’s dress alone….

When Dave contacted me about capturing his surprise proposal to his beautiful girlfriend, Kaycee, I was all about it. When he told me he was going to pop the question in front of Jeni’s Ice Cream Shoppe on Southport Avenue where they had their very first date I just about lost my mind with excitement….

I can’t believe the day has come to officially blog Karen and Matt’s incredible wedding day. Time flies!

Now, don’t get me wrong, My wedding day three years ago was amazing and lovely and all of the things one would hope their wedding will be.

But was it in an old Firehouse, you may ask?! Nope. Sadly, there was nary one fire pole to slide down.
