morgan & ray - a bottom lounge chicago wedding

Not to sound like a broken record, but I am so incredibly grateful for the amazing people I get to work with on the 'reg. Being surrounded by great folks on one of the happiest days of their lives is a pretty awesome way to spend a Saturday, let me tell you.

During the editing process of this beautiful wedding that I was lucky enough to capture earlier this month, I had a very hard time getting past the ceremony photos.

The way that Ray and Morgan look at each other is awe inspiring. Throughout the ceremony, Ray's big and beautifully expressive eyes looked down at (she's petite!) gorgeous Morgan with so much love, so much adoration, that it was impossible not to be moved, not only during the ceremony but also during the several hours it took to finish editing their "I do" pics.

This wedding was so much fun to be a part of. Set in the lovely upper level of West Chicago's Bottom Lounge, the venue has beautiful skyline views that are offset perfectly by its funky-yet-elegant industrial-chic vibe. The bride looked like a bombshell old-timey screen siren and the groomsmen wore Hand of the King boutonnieres (if you haven't watched Game of Thrones yet just go do it already! I resisted for years but once I got on that train I never looked back). It was an absolutely perfect day and I just couldn't be any happier for this amazing couple!

A huge congrats to Morgan and Ray! Scroll on down to check out some of my favorite moments from their beautiful wedding day.
